MERMELADA DE PIÑA PARA EL RELLENO.

Una empanada es un tipo de rotación horneada o frita que consiste en repostería y relleno, común en las culturas latinoamericana y filipina. El nombre proviene del verbo español empanar, y se traduce literalmente como "enbrenado", es decir, envuelto o cubierto de pan. Se hacen doblando la masa sobre un relleno, que puede consistir en carne, queso, maíz u otros ingredientes, y luego cocinando la rotación resultante, ya sea horneando o friendo.

Se asemejan a las pérdidas de balón de muchas otras cocinas y culturas, incluidas las empanadas de las Islas Británicas, la samosa de Asia Central y del Sur o los pirozhki de Rusia.

An empanada is a type of baked or fried turnover consisting of pastry and filling, common in Latin American and Filipino cultures. The name comes from the Spanish verb empanar, and literally translates as "enbreaded", that is, wrapped or coated in bread. They are made by folding dough over a filling, which may consist of meat, cheese, corn, or other ingredients, and then cooking the resulting turnover, either by baking or frying.
